I can said that the Accountancy Career and Education Fair is held very successfully.

The Objectives of this Fair are:

1. To provide the latest information on education opportunities in accountancy and business studies and openings available locally and overseas;

2. To provide opportunity for students to get counseling services and advice from the representatives present during the exhibition;

3. To provide information on the latest job openings relating to accountancy and business;

4. To promote the importance of accountancy and business studies as well as the profession through career talks and fun activities;

5. To provide an avenue for graduates from engineering and law backgrounds the opportunities to enter the accountancy profession.

The education fair this time successfully attracted a large amount of students to visit it.

Even students from other MJSCs, government secondary schools and job seekers are there. (Job seekers can drop down their resume and attend an interview there)

Although we are in the rush of time, we manage to attend the following career talks:

- Choosing Accountancy as Post Graduate Study, given by Mr Jerry Tan, Senior Education Advisor, Studylink Sdn Bhd (An interesting talk full of laughter)
- Accountants in the Public Practice, given by YBhg Dato’ NK Jasani, Managing Partner, SJ Grant Thornton
- Accountants in Commerce & Industry, given by
En Wan Haslan Wan Hassan, AGM, Finance & Corporate Planning, TH Properties Sdn Bhd
- Achieving Personal – Professional Life Balance, given by Ms Christina Foo, President CPA Australia

Career Talk at ACEF 2008

The career talk I like the most is Ms Christina Foo's speech.
She gave us 6 tips to maintain a balance lifestyle, mainly about relaxing and having your own personal time.
From the other talks, we got to know that accountants are the needed careers in the world, unless every company in this world is stop expanding and increasing.
(Accountants are in big demand with high salaries! Hehe...)
The speakers also let us know that the Corporate Executive Officers in every company are probably having accounting background to enable them to manage the company well...
They also showed the salaries of accountants stage by stage(It looks quite attracting, but what to do, my ambition is not an accountant...-_-).

The best thing is, we met with the Malaysia's Florist Festival in Sunway Pyramid!
Oh My god! There are so many flowers~~ @_@
Decorating Grande pianos, rebana... Oh my god...
I'm lucky I'm there...

Florist Festival! (n_n)

I enjoyed this trip very much actually...
The happy thing is I knew that my homeroom earned RM50 from the Food sale.
At least I din feel Guilty that much~ ^_^
